NOTES:
I make RECOMMENDATIONS as a PRIVATE CITIZEN, and NOT as a REPRSENTATIVE of any ORGANIZATION.
I DON’T ENDORSE! I “RECOMMEND”, looking for “BEST” or “BETTER” of OPTIONS
I may even “RECOMMEND w/ RELUCTANCE”, knowing one will win, & one political philosophy might “TILT” slightly BETTER than another.
If UNABLE to determine a “positive tilt” or inadequate info, I state, “NONE”.

US Rep 38th Dist
This is one of the NEWSOM atrociously drawn Dist to favor DEMS to gain house seats. District is mostly in LA Co, but it does swing down to include parts of Brea, Yorba Linda, Anaheim, and Placentia.
Recommendation:
PEDRO CASAS (R)
COMMENTS: Casas is a 29 yr retired Colonel from U.S. Army, and a psychologist. He attended Catholic School, thru HS, U of LaVerne, & PHD from UCSB. I heard him speak on 3-29-26. He stated he was a “Christian believer”, and was SPOT-ON re: the issues that concerns Conservatives. He added that he does not believe in allowing illegals a “pathway to citizenship”, saying we should not reward breakers of the law.
GOALS: He says, “I will work to SECURE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER, . . . IMMIGRATION REFORMS that prioritize National Security. In sports, I advocate for fairness by ensuring that BIOLOGICAL MALES ONLY COMPETE against counterparts, . . . . and addressing inflation promptly. To stimulate economic growth, I propose TAX CUTS, reduction of bureaucratic RED TAPE and EXCESSIVE REGULATIONS excessive regulations on small businesses, allowing the FREE MARKET to recalibrate itself. “
CASAS’s OPPONENT, Dem HILDA SOLIS, is a life long DEM politician, who is infected w/incurable “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS), hates ICE, is a pro-abort, who served as OBAMA’S Sec of Labor, and is supported by a ton of liberal unions, and endorsed by DEMOCRAT Party.
US Rep 40th Dist
NOTE: Under Prop 50 Redistricting, the boundaries for Dist 40, have been “INSANELY DRAWN” by Gov NEWSOM, and covers 3 counties (Orange, San Bernardino & Riverside). It now includes cities Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills, Villa Park, Orange, Chino Hills, Tustin, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, and parts of Brea and Corona. It’s nuts for me in SO OC to have the same representative as one in Corona.
Recommendation:
KEN CALVERT (R)
(This is MY District!)
COMMENTS: 10 Candidates in this race, including 2 Republican INCUMBENTS (YOUNG KIM and KEN CALVERT) who are pitted against each other, due to Newsom's scummy redistricting.
For various reason, I’m not a “fan” of either KIM or CALVERT. But, it is IMPORTANT for an “R’” to win this seat, to RETAIN the House.
Congresswoman, YOUNG KIM (contrary to what her flyers say NOW, w/TRUMP’S pic inserted) has “NOT” always been a TRUMP supporter. During impeachment stuff in Trump’s 1st term, KIM voted to “CENSURE” Pres Trump (though she stopped short of voting for his impeachment). She doesn’t even like him. And, some of her votes were NOT conservative. Additionally, when she ran against Greg Raths of MV, she stated total “made-up” LIES about him, on her campaign literature.
I get her mailers, now, bc I’m Dist 40! I see she is lying about Ken Calvert now, too! Today, I even got a cell TEXT, calling CALVERT a “Swampy Politician” who voted “w/ Nancy Pelosi and Eric Swalwell”, saying, “KEN CALVERT is with the Swamp, Not w/ Trump!” That is NOT TRUE! This is LAST MINUTE desperation.. . . . just like w/Greg Raths. She is a liar & lacks integrity! PLEASE DO NOT VOTE for YOUNG KIM!
While I think CALVERT has been in house too long (33 yrs), we MUST RETAIN this seat w/ an “R”! CALVERT has ALWAYS voted conservatively, and has been a solid TRUMP supporter. Additionally, w/ longevity, comes good committee assignments, an advantage. I am voting for KEN CALVERT. He is endorsed by Riverside Republican Party, REFORM CA, CA Republican Assembly, Lincoln Club of OC, State Senator TONY STRICKLAND, Assemblywoman KATE SANCHEZ, OC Supervisor DON WAGNER, RSM Mayor, TONY BEALL.
US Rep 41th Dist
Recommendation:
MITCH CLEMMONS (R)
COMMENTS: CLEMMONS is the only “R” in this newly-drawn 41st Dist, and previously was a runner up in ‘22. He’ll do a good job!
NOTE: Please DO NOT VOTE for DEM “Left-Liberal, LINDA SANCHEZ, who moved from Dist 38 to run here. She was AMONG the minority 53 DEMOCRATS who VOTED “AGAINST” DECLARING IRAN the “WORLD’S LARGEST STATE SPONSOR of TERROR” on Mar 5. (Those 53 also included notable lefties, “The “SQUAD”, including AOC, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib, all who seem to HATE AMERICA. Not a good 4 to be linked with!)
US Rep 42nd Dist
This is another Gov NEWSOM newly drawn district for OC, that is largely in LA CO, atrociously drawn, of course, to favor Democrat candidates. The district spans the coast, from Long Beach down to Huntington Beach and picks up part of Newport Beach.
Recommendation:
NOAH VON BLOM (R)
COMMENTS: Currently VON BLOM serves on the city council since 2020 for Newport Beach, where has has also served as mayor. He is a successful restaurateur and small-business owner. Besides, Von Blom, there are 2 other R’s are on the ballot. But, I find VON BLOM to be the best to represent this new area, based on his goals, and the support he has garnered. In Congress, his goals are to restore fiscal responsibility, support small businesses, secure our border, establish term limits for members of Congress, so that government is returned to those it is meant to serve, and not in the hands of career politicians.
His endorsements include: REFORM CA, Lincoln Club, CA Attorney General Candidate, MICHAEL GATES, CA Gov Candidate, STEVE HILTON, all 5 members of the Huntington Beach city council, and 6 of 7 Newport Beach city council members, and NB & HB Police & Fire.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for very liberal Democrat, ROBT GARCIA, who is the 1st openly Gay Immigrant in Congress. He is endorsed by liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood. While Garcia represented Long Beach in a different district, he is considered the incumbent in the newly drawn district.
US Rep 44th Dist
NOTE: 44th district is entirely in LA Co, composed of these cities:: Carson, Compton, Rancho Dominguez, Lakewood, Lynwood, North Long Beach, San Pedro, South Gate, Watts, Walnut Park, Willowbrook, and Wilmington.
Recommendation:
GENEVIEVE ANGEL (R)
COMMENTS: US Dist 44 is NOT in OC, but LA however. I researched this district, due to an inquiry made to me, by a voter. ANGEL is a Republican Nurse Practitioner attempting to unseat DEM incumbent. Endorsed by CA Republican Party, and REFORM CA.
US Rep 45th Dist
NOTE: The 45th is based in ORANGE & LA Co’s, and includes all of Garden Grove, Westminster, Cerritos, Buena Park, Placentia, Hawaiian Gardens, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Artesia, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, and La Palma, as well as parts of Brea, Lakewood & Fullerton.
Recommendation:
CHUONG VO (R)
COMMENTS: VO is an EXCELLENT candidate, a solid Conservative who, I believe, has the best chance & support to FLIP this seat. He is a former Mayor of Cerritos, retired 28 yr law-enforcement officer, running to unseat 1st term, D-Derek Tran. VO is a legal immigrant from Viet Nam. He does not believe “illegals” living here now, should be granted a “pathway to citizenship”. Instead, he says, they should go back, and apply legally. He is a MAGA supporter, and stands for virtually all the values I list in my criteria section. He personally stated to me he is Pro-Life. This seat needs to be “FLIPPED” to Red-Republican. VOTE for “CHUONG” VO !!! (Be careful! There is another “VO” on the ballot,Tom Vo).
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for very liberal Democrat, DEREK TRAN. He is endorsed by a myriad of liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.
US Rep 46th Dist
NOTE: This Dist covers Santa Ana, Stanton, Anaheim, Orange, Fullerton, and Placentia. Five candidates qualified to run for this CA 46th Congressional Dist; 4 Democrats, (including incumbent DEM Lou Correa, since 2017), and ONE REPUBLICAN.
Recommendation:
DAVID PAN (R)
COMMENTS: The one REPUBLICAN in this race is DAVID PAN, who changed his party affiliation to REPUBLICAN 2 yrs ago, after becoming disenchanted w/ the DEMOCRAT PARTY, especially in the areas of EDUCATION (he supports School Choice for Parents), Rising Crime and Lawlessness, runaway Government Spending. He strongly believes in Secure Borders. However, while PAN is a FISCAL Conservative, he is not a SOCIAL Conservative. But would still be far better than Liberal Democrat incumbent, Lou Correa who is neither. Pan is the son of Taiwanese Immigrants, very bright, w/degrees from Stanford & Columbia, and currently a professor at UC Irvine.
He is endorsed by Republican Party of OC, Conservative Patriots of OC, conservative CA Republican Assembly, and REFORM CA.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for very liberal Democrat, LOU CORREA. He is endorsed by tons of liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.
US Rep 47th Dist
NOTE: Newly-drawn 47th Congressional district. It includes full or portions of the communities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, and Tustin.
Recommendation:
JENNY RAE LE ROUX (R)
COMMENTS: Several good “R” candidates in this race (including Michael Maxsenti & Christopher Gonzales), but I have selected Jenny Rae Le Roux as my recommendation bc I believe she is the BEST, and most viable to unseat and flip this seat.
BACKGROUND: Le Roux is articulate, knowledgeable and impressive in her communication style. She is a business owner, author, and strategic advisor w/ a BA in Economics from the U of Virginia, w/an MBA from Columbia Business School. She has been involved in the energy and financial services industries. She is also the Executive Director of CAL DOGE, a group that works to root out waste, fraud, and abuse in CA that was launched in early 2026 by Republican gubernatorial candidate STEVE HILTON, to weed out CA’s fraud & abuse of our tax dollars. She has “political family ties”, too, in the fact that her 2nd cousin is progressive DEM Governor ABIGAIL SPANBERGER of Virginia. However, Jenny Rae’s political ideology is, as a staunch conservative Republican.
Endorsed by Republican Party of OC (OCGOP), REFORM CA, the OC Congress of Republicans, and CA Hispanic Republican Club. She is also endorsed by 5 Members of OC Board of Education, CA Attorney General Candidate (& former Huntington Beach Attorney), MICHAEL GATES, Assemblyman CARL DeMAIO, Governor candidate, STEVE HILTON, OC Supervisor, DON WAGNER, CA Senator, STEVEN CHOI, CA Senator, TONY STRICKLAND, CA Assembly members: DIANE DIXON, LAURIE DAVIES, JAMES GALLAGHER, HB City Councilwoman, GRACEY VAN DER MARK, Vice Mayor of Irvine, JAMES MAI, and my favorite pastor, PASTOR JACK HIBBS of Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills. We need this seat flipped.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for very liberal Democrat, first-term DAVE MIN, who rec’d a DUI conviction in 2023. As part of his sentence, he was put on probation for 3 yrs, which means he is still on it now. With this on his record in 2024, I can’t believe he pulled off a win over opponent, SCOTT BAUGH. MIN is a weak candidate, even acknowledged by the DEM party. But, of course still rec’d a myriad of endorsments of liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood.
US REP 48th Dist
Previously, this Congressional Dist was in OC, but with NEWSOM’S Redistricting, it now is entirely in San Diego County. Included here for continuity.
Recommendation:
JIM DESMOND (R)
COMMENTS: DESMOND is a U.S. Navy Veteran, Delta Air Lines pilot for 33 years, former Mayor of San Marcos, and current San Diego County Supervisor. Initially, he was going to run in Congressional Dist 49, which includes part of OC. However, after DARYL ISSA decided to retire from Congress, DESMOND chose to run for ISSA’s 48th seat instead, receiving ISSA’s endorsement. Desmond is also endorsed by the CA Republican Party, CA Republican Assembly, Reform CA, Lincoln Club of San Diejo, Riley Gaines (protect women in sports), Lantin American Political Ass of San Diego, Young Republican, Deputy Sheriffs Ass of San Diego, and Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Ass.
US Rep 49th Dist
NOTE: Dist is largely in San Diego Co & just a few areas of SO OC.
Recommendation:
STAR PARKER (R)
COMMENTS: In this 3-person race, we have 2 solid Conservatives candidates to “FLIP” this seat to make it “RED”, again.
Originally, I saw conservative ARMEN KURDIAN as the stronger “R” candidate of the 2, with better support, endorsements, background and momentum. However, as the campaign has progressed, it appears that STAR PARKER has nudged ahead, and taken the momentum, and best to unseat 3-term Liberal DEM, Mike Levin in November. Accordingly, I have switched my recommendation to STAR PARKER, who I have known to be a solid conservative for at least 20 yrs in my past involvement in Pro-Life and Crisis Pregnancy Centers.
PARKER is a Social Policy Consultant, and nationally syndicated columnist. She has worked in D.C. in 4 administrations to help preserve, protect, and promote biblical truths, limited government and an open market. She states, “Having served as an Advisor to the White House and on the U.S. Civil Rights Commission for California, I don’t need a map to find pathways to results inside politics. I’ve been working with congressional leaders and state legislators for 30 years.” Parker has a lot of “spunk” in her personality, too, which will be an asset. Endorsed by Reform CA, Pastor Jack Hibbs, of Calvary Chapel-Chino Hills. Recommended by: www.Robyn Nordell.com, “Penny’s Picks” of San Diego, “Kathy’s Picks” of So Orange County.
However, if KURDIAN, were to win, it would be easy to slide over and recommend this retired Navy Captain (w/25 yr veteran) in the Nov General Election. He’d do a great job, too!
OPPONENT: Is DEM incumbent Liberal Mike Levin, who is endorsed by the Democrat Party, Abortion provider Planned Parenthood, Jane Fonda’s Climate PAC, “SHIFTY” (& liar) Senator Adam Schiff, and a whole slew of other liberals. Levin opposes ICE, closed borders, and everything Trump, and is infected w/TDS.
CA STATE
GOVERNMENT
CA GOVERNOR
NOTES: There are 24 Democratic candidates, 12 Republican candidates, one Libertarian candidate, one Peace and Freedom candidate, and 23 no party preference candidates on the ballot. Currently, in this crowded field, there are 7 viable Dems, and 2 viable R’s. The top-two vote-getters advance to the general election, regardless of their partisan affiliations.
No Democrat candidate rec’d enough votes for the DEMOCRAT endorsement in Feb CA Convention. Appeals by CA DEM chairman for some D’s to drop out, so far, have fallen on “deaf ears”. DEM frontrunners in polls & name recognition are: Katie Porter, Tom Steyer, Xavier Becerra, Matt Mahan, Tony Thurmond, Antonio Villaraigosa, and included Eric Swalwell (who suspended his campaign due to sexual allegations). A Dem Governor, like Becerra, Porter or “Billionaire” Steyer, are extreme leftist, and would be LIKE MORE OF NEWSOM, heaven forbid. If NO DEMS drop out, the Democratic vote could be split. There is potential for 2 R’s to be on Nov ballot. That would be TERRIFIC, but likely won’t happen!
Unfortunately, NO “R” rec’d enough votes for Republican endorsement in April CA Convention, either. Vote was split between HILTON & BIANCO.
Recommendation:
STEVE HILTON(R)
COMMENTS: I like BOTH viable “R’s” (HILTON & BIANCO) candidates. Both are good men! Neither are perfect! But, either would be “light years” better than ANY Dem candidate.
HOWEVER, I’m picking STEVE HILTON! WHY? It’s time to choose definitively. It’s just too much “RISK” to “HOPE” for 2 R’s on NOV ballot. HILTON has led in virtually all the polls, since the beginning of the campaign (albeit, by a small percentage) over BIANCO. Also, I believe Hilton has a better organized campaign, has more money to support his campaign, and solid endorsements. (But, I would whole-heartedly support BIANCO, if he were to win this primary)
HILTON is endorsed by Pres TRUMP, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (protects Prop 13) , conservative US CA Congressman, Kevin Kiley (Independent), and conservative US CA Congressman, Tom McClintock (R) and many more.
These are STEVE HILTON’S priorities: As your governor my priorities will be to:
Sunset our regulatory code, so regulations go away unless explicitly renewed. Idaho did this and managed to reduce regulation by 95%.
Reduce and simplify California’s administrative state, so we eliminate bureaucratic bloat and duplication of functions.
Introduce regulatory budgets, so state agencies remove existing regulations before introducing new ones.
Require ‘permit paybacks’, so agencies that don’t handle permits in a timely manner have to refund their fees.
Bring change at the top, so the people running government agencies aren’t beholden to special interests and don’t believe the solution to almost every problem is MORE REGULATION.
LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR
NOTE: Currently there are 9 candidates (from the “viable” parties) for CA LT Gov (6 Dems, 3 Rep).
Recommendation:
GLORIA ROMERO(R)
COMMENTS: This is not a STRONG RECOMMENDATION for ROMERO, but is the best of the “VIABLE” candidates available and BC she is on the Steve Hilton slate, called the “Golden Ticket”, which gives her more visibility. Also, she has been in Sacramento and knows the legislative process well, to HELP HILTON, WHO IS RUNNING ON A SLATE w/Romero, Herb Morgan, Controller, and Michael Gates, Attorney General.
GLORIA ROMERO had been a Democrat & Dem majority leader of CA Senate (2005–2008) from 24th Dist (2001–2010). However, on September 4, 2024, Romero left the Democratic Party and joined the Republican Party. She gave many reasons for her switch, including her disagreement w/ Dem Party's positions on crime, gender identity, COVID lockdowns, gas stoves and school choice. She’s a big supporter of charter schools. In a press conference, Romero endorsed DONALD TRUMP in the 2024 election and offered praise for Robt Kennedy, Jr, calling him a "personal hero".
However, a few yrs prior to that, in her 2021 failed bid for Governor in Newsom’s recall, she was quoted as saying, she endorsed Republican Larry Elder, as Newsom’s replacement, in spite of saying that she "disagrees with just about everything that Larry Elder stands for". HUH? I liked almost all of what LARRY ELDER stood for.
While ROMERA is a Republican now, I would NOT consider her to be a CONSERVATIVE! In the past, she has been a member of the liberal ACLU, and the National Organization for Women (NOW), a Pro-Abortion group. Unless she has had a CTJM, I have not seen reports that she has changed. But, again, she is the best of the “viable” candidates for this office. “WE NEED AN “R” HERE!”
SECRETARY OF STATE
CA Secretary of State is the chief elections officer, responsible for overseeing all federal and state elections, maintaining a database of registered voters, providing voters with information about ballot measures. The office also handles business licensing and filings.
NOTE: There are 4 candidates on ballot for this office, but only 2 are viable. They are Republican Don Wagner and Dem incumbent, Shirley Weber. (The other 2 are Green Party candidates). Since Republican have led efforts to create stricter voter ID measure, including requiring proof of citizenship, this race has gotten more contentious. A voter ID measure has qualified for the Nov ballot, and is expected to stimulate voter turnout.
Recommendation:
DON WAGNER (R)
COMMENTS: Republican Wagner, is current R-OC Supervisor, former Mayor of Irvine, and former CA Assemblyman. I believe Wagner is a solid conservative, though some were disappointed he did not take more of a lead for Vote/Election integrity in OC, as a Supervisor. But conservatives were in the minority on the OC Board, so I cut Wagner some slack. However, in this position, he will have a REAL opportunity to “NOT DISAPPOINT” and solidify “ELECTION INTEGRITY” in CA. Republicans desperately need to flip this seat RED, to better oversee elections, and overcome the incompetence and partisan slant of DEM Shirley Weber.
WAGNER’S Endorsements are: CA Republican Party, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (protects Prop 13), and REFORM CA. Additionally, Wagner has a whole slew of current & former elected officials, including former Gov, Pete Wilson.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for incumber, 77 yr old, Shirley Weber. Weber OPPOSES proposals that would require Voter ID in order to cast a ballot, believing it to sow doubt in the integrity of the elections system. She has also been criticized for how ballot initiatives have been TITLED with a Liberal/Democratic slant. Titling is a combination effort between the office of the CA Attorney General and the CA Sec of State. Weber is extremely liberal Democrat, endorsed by lots of liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood.
CONTROLLER
NOTE: The CA Controller serves as the chief fiscal officer, responsible for overseeing the state's financial resources, including accounting, disbursement of funds, and auditing government agencies. Additionally, the Controller administers unclaimed property laws and manages payroll for state employees.
Recommendation:
HERB MORGAN (R)
COMMENTS: MORGAN will be EXCELLENT! Has strong background in finance and public service, having nearly 4 decades of experience in financial markets, and a founder for Efficient Market Advisors, a notable investment firm. Morgan is running on the promise of exposing fraud in government at a time when the Trump administration also is leveling fraud accusations against California.
He is the first political candidate in U.S. history to publish every campaign financial transaction on a public blockchain - with daily verified updates that make each contribution and expense permanently visible to the public. “Politicians love to talk about transparency," said Morgan. “I'm actually doing it. Every dollar in and out of my campaign is recorded on-chain, permanently. This is the model for how I'll run the Controller's office." He plans to develop this same concept for the CONTROLLER’S office. (Exactly what CA needs!)
ENDORSEMENTS: CA Republican Party, CA Republican Assembly, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (protects Prop 13), Lincoln Clubs, CA Congress of Republicans, CA Rifle & Pistol Assoc, CA Unity Party, SD Young Republican, and a whole slew of known Elected and former Elected officials.
MORGAN’S (main) OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for very liberal Democrat, MALIA COHEN. She is endorsed by lots of liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood.
TREASURER
NOTE: Treasurer is the state's chief banker and investment officer responsible for managing public funds, administers the sale of state bonds and notes, and pays out state funds when spent by the Controller and other state agencies.
Six Candidates are vying for this office; 2 Republicans, 3 Democrats, and one Green Party
Recommendation:
JENNIFER HAWKS
COMMENTS: Retired business executive who believes the Treasurer's job is simple: “Take care of the people's money like it's your own”. Adding, “California’s fiscal challenges did not happen overnight. They are the result of years of decisions made without sufficient scrutiny or long-term discipline. I am detail-driven and persistent, and I believe the Treasurer has a responsibility to ask hard questions, follow the money, and provide clear answers to the public when something doesn’t add up.”
ENDORSEMENTS: CA Republican Party, CA Republic Assembly, REFORM CA, American Independent Party, Assemblyman Carl DeMaio, and many more.
MAIN OPPONENTS: Eleni Kounalakis (D) and Anna Caballero (D), who have different liberal platforms, including proposals related to state funding and immigration.
State Treasurer: Jennifer Hawks
ATTORNEY GENERAL
Recommendation:
MICHAEL GATES (R)
COMMENTS: MICHAEL GATES will make a FABULOUS CA Attorney General, as he has the necessary experience to do an EXCELLENT job! He is fiscally and socially Conservative.
BACKGROUND: Michael began law career in private practice, establishing himself as a trial attorney. Then, in 2014, Michael left private practice to serve as the elected City Attorney for Huntington Beach, a position he held for 10 yrs, winning re-elections in 2018, and 2022. Michael quickly built a record of success in HB for fighting crime & homelessness in Huntington Beach, and bad legislation from Sacramento. In 2025, he was called by the Trump Administration to the Dept of Justice (DOJ), where he was appointed Deputy Asst Attorney General in the Civil Rights Div, where he oversaw about 100 attorneys across Employment, Voting & Elections, Housing & Civil Enforcement, & Criminal sections. He left that job to run for this office, and return to CA, wife and 5 kids.
GROUPS: CA Republican Party, CA Republican Assembly, REFORM CA, Lincoln Club, American Independent Party, CA Parents Union, CA Rifle & Pistol Ass, Huntington Beach Police Officer’s Ass, Garden Grove Police Officer’s Ass, Westminster Police Officer’s Ass, Deputy Sheriffs' Ass of San Diego County, Newport Beach Police Ass, Pomona Police Officers' Ass, Simi Valley Police Officers' Ass, Sacramento Co Deputy Sheriffs' Ass, Bakersfield Police Officers' Ass, Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Ass of San Bernardino, The Israeli-American Civic Action Network (ICAN), Iranian-American Republican Council, California Hispanic Republican Club, Vietnamese-American Conservative Alliance (VACA), Silicon Valley Chinese Association, United Vietnamese American Community of No CA, San Diego Asian-Americans for Equality (SDAAE). This isn’t ALL, BUT ENOUGH.
INDIVIDUALS: PASTOR JACK HIBBS of Calvary Chino Hills, STEVE HILTON-Gov Candidate, DON BARNES-OC Sheriff, JON VOIGHT-actor, ALEX VILLANUEVA-Former LA Co Sheriff, STEVE GARVEY-former Dodger & former CA Senate Candidate, and virtually every elected Republican official in CA. Too many to list!
INSURANCE COMMISSIONER
NOTE: Commissioner oversees the CA Dept of Insurance. Agency is charged with licensing insurance companies and reviewing their financial statements, establishing rate regulations, investigating consumer complaints, and punishing insurers with fines or penalties for regulatory noncompliance. There are 11 candidates on the ballot (4 Dems, 5 Rep, 1 Amer Indep, 1 Peace & Freedom). But, by far, the one w/best experience is my recommendation.
Recommendation:
STACY KORSGADEN (R)
COMMENTS: This is a position that requires knowledge and experience in the Insurance Industry, not just some politician that wants to jump seats. W/STACY KORSGADEN, we get that, ie, a nationally known Insurance expert. Korsgaden has held an active CA Insurance license since 1988. She has spent nearly 40 years helping families and small businesses navigate insurance policies and losses, and recognizes we have a broken regulatory system that need change.
KORSGADEN is endorsed by: CA Republican Party, REFORM CA, and many county Republican Party clubs all over CA.
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION - 4TH DIST
(Covers counties:: Imperial, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego)
NOTE: What does this agency do? The CA State Board of Equalization (BOE) is responsible for overseeing property tax assessments, collecting excise taxes on alcoholic beverages, and administering the insurance tax program. It ensures that property tax assessments are uniform and fair across the state of California.
Recommendation:
DENIS BILODEAU (R)
COMMENTS: Denis Bilodeau is a fighter for taxpayers, and is Pres of the Orange Taxpayers Assoc. He has led efforts to hold government accountable, expose waste, and protect taxpayers' dollars. A graduate of UC Irvine, and a licensed Civil Engineer, he has served on City of Orange as Councilmember, and as President of Orange Co Water Dist.
Endorsed by the CA Republican Party. REFORM CA, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Ass, and CA Senator-Tony Strickland, Assemblyman-Tri Ta, Assemblyman-Phillip Chen, Assemblyman-Carl DeMaio
CA SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION (also under “Schools”)
Recommendation:
SONJA SHAW (R)
COMMENTS: Starting out as “just” a concerned mom over her daughter’s education, who got involved. Elected Chino Valley Unified School Board President in 2022, SHAW championed parental rights, winning landmark battles against Sacramento's extreme policies, including a lawsuit opposing Attorney General Rob Bonta. She strongly opposes Men in Women’s sports, which got her the support of Riley Gaines, Women's Sports Advocate. Also, endorsed by Governor Candidates, Sheriff Chad Bianco & Steve Hilton, the CA Republican Party, conservative CA Republican Assembly, Reform CA, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (protects Prop 13), the Lincoln Club, Moms for Liberty, and tons of elected conservative office holders throughout CA.
CA STATE SENATE
CA SENATE - 30th DIST
NOTE: Dist 30th district Is mostly in LA CO and includes Downey, Norwalk, Bellflower, La Mirada Santa Fe Springs, Montebello, Pico Rivera, Whittier, Hacienda Heights, La Puente, Valinda, Industry, Rowland Heights, Walnut, and Diamond Bar, along w/Brea in NE OC.
Recommendation:
ARACELI MARTINEZ (R)
COMMENTS: Businesswoman Martinez is a Republican, running an uphill campaign to unseat DEM, 2-Term Incumbent, Bob Archuleta. She is endorsed by REFORM CA, CA Republican Assembly, Conservative Patriots of OC.
CA SENATE - 32nd DIST
Recommendation:
KELLY SEYARTO (R)
COMMENTS: Incumbent elected in 2022, moving up from CA State Assembly. A retired firefighter, who prev served a mayor of Murrieta. Endorsed by: Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Ass, California Narcotics Officers Ass, CA Association of Highway Patrolmen, Republican Party of Orange Co, Republican Party of Riverside County, Republican Party of San Diego County, Republican Party of San Bernardino County, Riverside Republican Assembly, San Diego Lincoln Club. Plus a whole slew of elected Officials from his district.
CA SENATE - 34th DIST
Includes the northern OC cities of Santa Ana, Anaheim, Placentia, Fullerton, Buena Park, La Habra and parts of Orange, and South Whittier in Los Angeles County.
Recommendation:
RHONDA SHADER (R)
COMMENTS: Conservative SHADER would be excellent. She is a local business owner, elected to the Placentia City Council in 2016, and served two terms as Mayor, and launched Placentia’s own Fire Department.
ENDORSEMENTS: OC Republican Party, Los Angeles Republican Party, Reform CA, CA Women's Leadership Ass, CA Republican Assembly, CA College Republicans, Lincoln Club of Orange County, New Majority OC. OC Young Republicans, Huntington Beach Republican Women, and by a ton of elected officials, too many to list.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for very liberal Democrat, AVELINO VALENCIA. He is endorsed by all liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood.
CA SENATE - 36th DIST
Recommendation:
TONY STRICKLAND (R)
COMMENTS: R incumbent doing a good job, in spite of being in a Super-Majority DEM legislature, and deserves to be re-elected. Endorsed by OC Republican Party, REFORM CA, OC Sheriff Don Barnes, former Sen. John Moorlach, LA CO Republican Party, CA Womens Leadership Ass, CA Rifle & Pistol Ass, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, Los Angeles County Taxpayers Association, a large variety of Law Enforcement groups, and a whole slew of elected officials from OC and LA Counties.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for opponent, Democrat CHRIS DUNCAN. He is endorsed by lots of liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood.
CA SENATE - 38th DIST

Laura Bassett (R)
COMMENTS: LAURA BASSETT is a businesswoman and lifelong Oceanside resident, w/ a degree in accounting. Also, a wife and mother. She has not held elective office, but has been politically active & serves on San Diego Co Civil Service Commission. She is endorsed by OC Republican Party, San Diego Republican Party, Lincoln Club or OC & San Diego, SD Young Republicans, REFORM CALIFORNIA, CA, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (protects Prop 13), Assembly Members, Carl DeMaio & R-Laurie Davies, R-CA State Senators, Kelly Seyarto, Brian Jones, and Tony Strickland, R-SD Supervisor Jim Desmond, Rebecca Jones, R- Mayor of San Marcos, and many other Republican elected officials.

Recommendation:
PHILLIP CHEN (R)
Comments (previous): Endorsed by OC Republican Party (OC GOP) and the conservative CA Republican Assembly (CRA). An incumbent doing as good as could be expected, being the minority party, with a DEM super-majority Trifecta in all 3 CA branches of Gov (Executive Offices, CA Senate, and CA Assembly). Endorsed Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Assoc, and many more.
CA STATE ASSEMBLY - 64th Dist:
Recommendation:
RAUL ORTIZ (R)
COMMENTS: Solid Christian Conservative candidate in every way. Endorsed by the conservative CA Republican Assembly (CRA). More to follow.
CA STATE ASSEMBLY - 67th Dist
(covers Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton West, La Palma)
Recommendation:
PAULO MORALES (R)
COMMENTS: The only R in this race is PAULO MORALES, who is a newly registered Republican. He stated he was a Democrat his whole life, but felt “the party left me”. He is a former Cypress Mayor and retired Cypress Police officer. A conservative advisor from Cypress expressed Morales votes on City Council w/other conservatives, on CC. Based on this information, I feel adequately comfortable to recommend him. I appreciate the courage it took to leave the DEM party and recognize how LEFT it has become.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for very liberal Democrat, ADA BRICENO. She is endorsed by lots of liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood.
CA STATE ASSEMBLY - 68th Dist
Includes Anaheim, Orange, and Santa Ana
Recommendation:
MAYRA RUIZ (R)
COMMENTS: Myra Ruiz is a former Navy intelligence analyst, an instructor at Santiago Canyon College, and runs on a platform emphasizing public safety, education, and support for small businesses. Also, she states, “Parents deserve transparency, a meaningful voice in their children’s education, and policies that protect student safety and privacy in every classroom and facility.”
ENDORSEMENTS: Republican Party of OC, and conservative CA Republican Assembly.
OPPONENTS: 3 Democrats; David Penaloza, Jessie Lopez, and Shannon Wingfield. Please especially DO NOT VOTE for very liberal Democrats, DAVID PENALOZA or JESSIE LOPEZ. Both have liberal groups/individuals endorsement and both are backed by Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood.
CA STATE ASSEMBLY - 70th Dist
(covers Los Alamitos, Stanton, Westminster, Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, & parts of Santa Ana).
Recommendation:
TRI TA (R)
Comments: Incumbent TRI TA won this seat in Nov 2022, after having served as mayor of Westminster. An immigrant from Vietnam, he is endorsed by the OC Republican Party, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Assoc, and many others Republican office holders.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for liberal Democrat, PAULA SWIFT. He is endorsed by lots of liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood.
CA STATE ASSEMBLY - 71st Dist
(covers Rancho Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, unincorporated areas of Las Flores, Coto De Caza, Trabuco Canyon, Dove Canyon). THIS IS MY DISTRICT.
Recommendation:
“KATE” KATHRYN SANCHEZ (R)

She is endorsed by OC GOP (Republican Party), conservative CA Republican Assembly, Carl De Maio’s REFORM CALIFORNIA, Conservative Craig Huey’s Election Forum, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Assoc,, and lots of Conservative Republican Elected Officials.
CA STATE ASSEMBLY - 72nd Dist

GRACEY VAN DER MARK (R)

Endorsed by these groups: Republican Party of OC, CA Republican Assembly, Lincoln Club, Howard Jarvis Taxpayer Assoc, OC Young Republicans, Huntington Beach Police Officers Association (& 2 other Law Enforcement groups) and virtually EVERY Republican Elected Official in OC (about 80). Whoa! This girl has been busy!

CA STATE ASSEMBLY - 73rd Dist
The 73rd Dist comprises Irvine, Costa Mesa, and a partial area of Tustin.
Recommendation:
URSON RUSSELL (R)
COMMENTS: URSON will be TERRIFIC, solid Conservative. He is a businessman, the has built and led businesses in operations, logistics, production, sales, training, and team management. He describes himself as a “fanatic for common sense, equal justice, and accountability”. He believes government is simple: “take taxpayers funds, then the government delivers security, tranquility, general welfare, defense, and protection of unalienable rights—nothing more, nothing less. No excuses, no waste, no favoritism.” Urson stands with parents for informed consent and family authority in schools and healthcare. On immigration, he supports secure borders and a merit-based system that protects citizens first while offering a legal, vetted path for those who contribute and assimilate.
ENDORSEMENTS: GROUPS-Republican Party of OC (OC GOP), California Republican Assembly, Lincoln Club of Orange County. INDIVIDUALS: Elected Officials -Mike Buley - CM City Council, Dist 1, Jeff Pettis -CM City Council, Dist 6, former CM Mayors, Steve Mensinger, Jim Righeimer, & Allan Mansoor, Christina Shea-former Irvine City Council, Scott Peotter, former Newport Beach City Council, all 5 HB City Councilmembers, Michael Gates, former HB Attorney & current CA Attorney General Candidate, and many more.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for very liberal Democrat incumbent, COTTIE PETRIE-NORRIS. She is endorsed by lots of liberal groups/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood. This is a tough race against this 2-term DEM. I’m sure he could use some support, via donations and “boots on the ground”. See website below to do that.
CA STATE ASSEMBLY - Dist 74th

He is articulate and intelligent and is endorsed by the Conservative CA Republican Assembly (CRA). Also, Sonja Shaw, Pres of Chino Valley Un School District Board & candidate for CA State Super of School, Crystal Miles, Villa Park City Councilwoman & former mayor, Rhonda Shader, former mayor of Placentia & candidate for CA Senate # 34, and Candy Olson, member of Redlands Unified Board of Education.

Recommendation:
TIM SHAW (R)
COMMENTS: Solid Conservative R. He prev served on City Council and Mayor of La Habra, and on the OC Board of Education. He’s married, with 6 boys!
Endorsed by OC Republican Party, REFORM CA, and CA Republican Assembly. He’d be TERRIFIC!

OC SUPERVISOR -5th
District 5 of the Orange County Board of Supervisors includes the cities of Aliso Viejo, Costa Mesa, Dana Point, a large portion of Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Newport Beach, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano.
Recommendation:
DIANE DIXON (R)
COMMENTS: While this is considered a “Non-Partisan” office, REPUBLICAN DIANE DIXON is the ONE NEEDED to win, so as not to allow a DEMOCRAT MAJORITY on the OC Board of Supervisors. DIXON is running against Liberal-Left, incumbent, KATRINA FOLEY, who needs to be DEFEATED!!! DIXON is currently a CA Assemblywoman (District 72), a former Newport Beach mayor and city councilmember, and a longtime business executive. She is endorsed by Republican Party of OC (OC GOP), and conservative CA Republican Assembly.
OPPONENT: Please DO NOT VOTE for extremely liberal Democrat, KATRINA FOLEY. She is endorsed by all liberal group/individuals, including Abortion Provider, Planned Parenthood.
OC ASSESSOR
Recommendation:
CLAUDE PARRISH (R)
COMMENTS: Another Incumbent conservative, doing a good job, who deserves to be re-elected. Endorsed by OC Republican Party and CA Republican Assembly.
OC AUDITOR-CONTROLLER
Recommendation:
ANDREW HAMILTON (R)
COMMENTS: Solid Conservative Republican and an incumbent, doing a terrific job, deserving of your vote. Endorsed by OC Republican Party and CA Republican Assembly. The “Lucky Duck”, is unopposed. Woo-hoo!
OC CLERK-RECORDER
Recommendation:
HUGH NGUYEN (R)
COMMENTS: Incumbent doing a great job and deserves to be re-elected. Endorsed by OC Republican Party and CA Republican Assembly.
OC SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS (also below under “Schools”)
Recommendation:
STEFEN BEAN (R)
COMMENTS: Dr, Bean is the conservative Incumbent, doing an excellent job and deserves to be re-elected. Endorsed by OC Republican Party and CA Republican Assembly. It takes a lot to qualify for this job, and the liberals couldn’t come up w/anyone. So like Andrew Hamilton above, the “Lucky Duck”, is unopposed. Yay! But, nevertheless, give him your vote for when he has a race that IS CONTESTED!
OC TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR
Recommendation:
SHARI FREIDENRICH (R)
COMMENTS: Incumbent doing a great job, and originally recommended by solid Conservative, John Moorlach. CPA, FREIDENRICH deserves to be re-elected. Endorsed by OC Republican Party, and CA Republican Assembly. She says, “Cutting fraud, waste & abuse is critical to keep government running, in a common sense, cost-effective manner, as government spends our hard-earned tax dollars.”
OC JUDICIAL
SUPERIOR COURT #13
Recommendation:
ANN CHO
COMMENTS: Unfortunately both candidates are registered Democrats. However, PLEASE DO NOT VOTE for ROBERT MESTMAN. My research found that MESTMAN is considered a “very far left” politically, and endorsed by the Democrat Party of OC, and a whole slew of very liberal left elected officials.
ANN CHO appears to be moderate, yet well-qualified, and definitely the BETTER of the 2 candidates. She is an experienced Deputy District Attorney w/ 18-years in the OC District Attorney’s office. Even Republican OC Supervisor Don Wagner agrees, and has endorsed her, along with a variety of Asian organizations.
SUPERIOR COURT #41
Recommendation:
AMY SAGEL (D)
COMMENTS: While neither of these candidates are conservative, nor REPUBLICAN, my research has found that Democrat incumbent, AMI SAGEL, is overall slightly better than challenging candidate, CHARLES PELL, who is registered as NPP (no party preference). While SAGEL is endorsed by a lot of known liberals, she is also endorsed by a few known conservatives too, like Honorable (Judge) MEGAN WAGNER, OC Sheriff DON BARNES, and OC Supervisor DON WAGNER. SAGEL is generally known to have a good reputation in being fair and balanced, along w/ a good temperament in this judgeship.
Schools
-CA State
CA SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTIONS (also under CA Government)
Recommendation:
SONJA SHAW (R)
COMMENTS: Shaw starting out as just a “concerned” mom over her daughter’s education, who got involved. Elected Chino Valley Unified School Board President in 2022, SHAW championed parental rights, winning landmark battles against Sacramento's extreme policies, including a lawsuit of Attorney General Rob Bonta’s. She is worthy of your vote.
Schools
-oc
OC SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
Recommendation:
DR STEFAN BEAN (R)
COMMENTS: Dr Bean is the incumbent Superintendent, and doing an excellent job. Such a good job, that no one chose to run against him. Give him your vote anyway. Endorsed by OC Republican Party and CA Republican Assembly.
OC BOARD of EDUCATION-Trustee Area 2
Recommendation:
MARI BARKE (R)
COMMENTS: INCUMBENT doing a GREAT JOB! She is TERRIFIC! And the “Luck Duck” is running UNOPPOSED! Endorsed by the OC Republican Party , and CA Republican Assembly.
OC BOARD of EDUCATION-Trustee Area 5
Recommendation:
LISA SPARKS (R)
COMMENTS: GREAT INCUMBENT! We need her back. Dr. Lisa Sparks is current Pres of OC Bd of Education. She is a professor and former dean at Chapman University, known for her work in health communication and advocacy for public school choice options. She’s terrific!
Endorsed by the OC Republican Party , CA Republican Assembly, and a whole slew of elected officials in OC too many to list.
